Church ordains sex offender. No, it's not a joke

They are right when they say that reality surpasses fiction.

The ordination of Mark Hourigan is scheduled to take place at the City of Refuge Worship Center in Germantown on Sunday morning.

Hourigan was charged with sexually abusing and sodomizing an 11-year-old boy in 1998.

This is not even a catholic church, are they trying to see if having a sex offender in their ranks will make them as successful as the catholics? Ok, god loves, god forgives, whatever, but to put a sex offender to lead service is too much. We're not talking just about someone who flashed a kid, this is someone who sodomized an 11 year-old boy.

I have no words for this. Just a big WTF!
